Designers.
Engineers.
Inventors.

From prototypes to products to industrial systems, we seek elegantly simple solutions to complex technical challenges.

Solving design and engineering problems across the spectrum

We’ve invented ground-breaking washing machines. We’ve created airline seats that fold out into flat beds. We’ve developed novel filtration technologies to capture microfibres. We’ve designed flat pack furniture for IKEA. We’ve built virtual reality driving simulators. We’ve designed surgical instruments for surgeons. Whatever the challenge, we apply the same rapid problem-solving skills.

Why we’re different

Designers typically don’t do technical detail. Engineers typically don’t think laterally. We do both and more. From ideas through to proof of principle all the way to production.

Each of us combines both design and engineering skills. This surprisingly rare combination means we think differently.

Our founder Gareth Jones was one of the team who developed the first Dyson vacuum, and later Dyson’s washing machine, using the same proven processes we use today.

This approach, refined across many years and hundreds of projects, is a reliable way to achieve elegant, original solutions. We have over a dozen patents to our name for clients, and more recently for our own research.

We are inventors, designers and engineers, rolled into one.
